what is fruit aero? this website is modeled after frutiger aero, which was a design aesthetic popular from roughly 2004-2013. think windows vista/windows 7. the name came from adrian frutiger, a swiss designer whose fonts were used with this design, and from Windows 'Aero'. this style is synonomous with the uprising prevelance of technology and childhood nostalgia, particulary for me. This design was sort of retro futuristic, in trying to move away from older windows styling, making everything more natural, comforting, bubbly, and rounded.
on a more personal level, this site was created by a person who loves aesthetically pleasing visuals. it's my playground for coding, so to speak. i am pretty new to html and css, and know no other programming languages haha! but frutiger aero is very nostalgic to me, and reminds me of my childhood. i am a gen z and this is my secondary website. you can check out my main here! some of my other favorite aesthetics/styles besides frutiger aero are windows 98, cybersigilism, and grunge-y coquette. if you wanna check out my pinterest go
